I noticed a few days ago that half of my laptop screen is darker than the other. It's not the wall paper because when I go on the internet it's the same. It looks like that side of the screen is getting darker but the other, the right side is normal. Any ideas what it causing it?

Well, did you split your screen in two? (LOL) Your pixols could be dying out. That happens with LCD's. You could be blind. You could have a setting that does this. Check in your display settings for any option. Short of looking at the laptop, I can't suggest anything.

lcd displays do age over time, and maybe yours is finally dying.

After six months? I didn't do anything to it that I'm aware of.

OK, maybe not then. Well, like I said, look into your display settings. Also, have you triedd attaching an external monitor to see what it does?

Maybe it does have something to do with bad pixols.
